La trilogia originale completa è disponibile in formato cartaceo ed e-book sotto pseudonimo autore "Mauro Natt".La trama affronta le concrete problematiche connesse alla gestione del nucleare, in particolare allo smaltimento delle scorie, e trae spunto dai fatti di cronaca nazionale e internazionale di seguito riportati:1 - Nei primi anni '90 "The European" dà notizia di una donna morta sulle Alpi francesi dopo aver fatto il pic-nic in una zona naturalistica e solitaria, che poi si scoprirà essere stata contaminata da polveri di berillio radioattivo di cui qualcuno si era disfatto senza preoccuparsi delle conseguenze. 2 - A seguito della dissoluzione dell'ex Unione Sovietica, in diverse nazioni d'Europa, Italia compresa, vengono effettuati decine di arresti legati al contrabbando di materiali fissili trafugati da dipendenti disonesti.3 - Sempre verso la fine millennio vengono pubblicate notizie allarmanti circa l'inabissamento nelle profondità marine di grandi quantità di scorie radioattive e materiali nucleari altamente contaminanti, dal Mare Mediterraneo al Circolo Polare Artico e fino ai più lontani oceani.4 - Lo smaltimento illegale di scorie e il traffico di materiali radioattivi con l'Africa, Somalia e Niger in particolare, sono stati al centro di coraggiosi reportage conclusi con la morte violenta dei giornalisti che se ne stavano occupando.5 - Riconducibili ai traffici di uranio, plutonio e scorie radioattive, e ancor oggi avvolte dal mistero, sono le morti di alcuni noti personaggi della politica o di specialisti del settore, in Italia e all'estero, di cui non si conoscono né gli esecutori né i mandanti.
About the Author: L'autore nasce a Genova, dove si diploma Capitano di Lungo Corso e intraprende la carriera marittima, navigando lungo le rotte oceaniche. Quando infine si stabilisce a Roma, si specializza come tecnico di programmazione elettronica per i grandi sistemi informativi aziendali. La prima iniziativa a carattere letterario a cui contestualmente si dedica risale al 1981, quando a Roma fonda e per alcuni anni dirige un settimanale tabloid, precursore in Italia dei periodici di pubblicità e annunci a distribuzione gratuita, la cui tiratura raggiunge ben presto le decine di migliaia di copie settimanali. Il romanzo d'esordio, "Operazione Berillio", vince nel 2009 il primo premio di Letteratura Inedita "Le agavi" - Città di Reggio Calabria", dando inizio alla collana "Enrico Fiorani".
