Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich BWL - Offline-Marketing und Online-Marketing, Note: 1,7, Hochschule der Wirtschaft für Management, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Aufgrund der Aktualität des Themas Open Innovation und der derzeitigen Herausforderungen, mit denen sich die Unternehmen auseinandersetzen müssen, ist es das Ziel dieser Bachelorarbeit, herauszufinden, ob sich der Einsatz von Open Innovation positiv auf den Innovationserfolg eines Unternehmens auswirkt und welche Rolle Open Innovation bisher in der Automobilindustrie spielt. Die Bachelorarbeit ist in sechs Themenkomplexe untergliedert. Im Anschluss an die Einleitung werden theoretische Grundlagen vermittelt. Im Praxisteil werden die von den Automobilfirmen genutzten Open Innovation Instrumente offengelegt und somit die derzeitige Bedeutung des Open-Innovation-Ansatzes in der Automobilindustrie aufgezeigt. Im Analyse- und Diskussionspart werden die Erkenntnisse von Theorie und Praxis gegenübergestellt und interpretiert. Des Weiteren werden anhand von drei ausgewählten Studien neue Informationen zur Open Innovation Thematik geliefert. Anschließend werden durch die Befragung von vier Automobilexperten bisher unbekannte Erkenntnisse erlangt, die mit den bisherigen verglichen wurden. Zur Beantwortung der Forschungsfrage: "Welche Rolle der Open-Innovation-Ansatz in der Automobilindustrie spielt" wurden alle gesammelten Informationen gegenübergestellt. Es wurden ebenfalls fünf Handlungsempfehlungen ausgearbeitet, welche die volle Potenzialausschöpfung des Open-Innovation-Ansatzes ermöglichen sollen. Im Fazit erfolgt eine kritische Auseinandersetzung mit den gesammelten Erkenntnissen und ein Ausblick in die Zukunft.
