About the Book

One Solution to Many Diseases is a collection of twenty-four and half inspirational stories from the medical practice of Pratap C. Singhal MD

Each story is unique as is every patient. Each story covers a different aspect of health and disease. Since there are 24 1/2 stories there are wide varieties of subject discussed such as obesity, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, arthritis, the diseases of the teeth, fear of death, cancer, quit smoking in one hour, families in distress, family catastrophe. There is a unique story where family had a major car accident and two people died at this spot, you will learn how family dealt with this major loss.

What you will enjoy most is there is a dialogue between the patient and the doctor in each story and it makes you feel as if you are sitting with Dr. Singhal in his office and observing the conversation.

Dr. Singhal uses hypnotherapy in many of his patient and again you will enjoy the dialogue and the different techniques that he uses for different patient. Most importantly you will take home one 'universal script' that you can use for your personal benefit to uplift yourself.

There are stories of patients who had to deal with difficult challenges in life for example, there is a story of a cancer patient who had only 35 days to live, and how miraculously he pulls himself from the death's door. There's another story of a patient who was in his deathbed and refused all treatment with the intention to die. The dialogue between the doctor and patient is thought invoking.

Dr. Singhal also demonstrate how with hypnotherapy he helps patients quit smoking in one hour, and in other cases how he helps patients to lose weight, and all sessions are interactive.

The readers will have the opportunity to peak into the life of people who live hundred years and beyond. This book provides an opportunity to appreciate what happen in the last moments of the dying patient.

In the 24th chapter Dr. Singhal tries his best to demonstrate as to how injured soldiers and people heal so fast. And it is all due to the innate healing qualities of your body. He has given several case examples on that. He also showed that how you can expedite the healing power of your body with the power of your will. Finally he has given a practical healing exercise which alone is the worth of the investment into the book.

The half unfinished story is the last chapter of the book. This is interesting and unique approach and it encourages you to think and reflect on your life which is quite uplifting.

There are additional chapters on QA at the end of the book. That addresses many issues such as what is normal weight, what's is normal BMI, what food are the best to eat to stay healthy, how much water you should drink, it removes some misconception about eating. There is a BMIs chart provided at the appendix.

The whole reading is interesting and once you pick up the book it is hard to put it down.

The language of the book is simple and information is practical that every reader can benefit. It is must-have book for each household.
