About the Book

ONE IN MESSIAH is a compendium of 12 authors out of nearly 20 participants who collaborated at the third annual One in Messiah Convocation. The first such gathering took place in Denver in the summer of 2017; the second took place in Sacramento, California in March 2018 and now this third gathering, again, in Denver, summer of 2019.However, this time, the primary sponsors of the event-the Way Congregation of Wheat Ridge, Colorado--a messianic congregation; One Body Life, of Northern California-a ministry to the general Body of Christ; and the Commonwealth Foundation, whose primary focus centers on "Commonwealth of Israel Theology" - have "teamed up" as a display for the "faith of the gospel" in keeping with Philippians 1:27: "Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ . . . that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together ("teaming up") for the faith of the gospel."It would appear by the titles of chapters written by these twelve authors, that a disparate set of themes appears to the casual eye; however, this is not so. There is, most definitely, a wide variety of perspective-but they all share something profoundly unique: They all celebrate our Oneness we have in Messiah! Each is coming "at it" in their own unique way-but we all arrive at the "unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a Perfect Man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of our Messiah" (Eph. 4:13).We are all firm believers in the "United Kingdom of David" - i.e., the "Tabernacle of David" which was revealed to the Lord's Ekklesia at the Council in Jerusalem in Acts 15. The Ten Tribes of the Northern Kingdom (the Kingdom of Israel), split off from the Two Tribes of the Southern Kingdom at the "breach of Jeroboam." But now, those "from among the Nations [aka, "the Gentiles") were reunited as the United Kingdom of David through the Gospel of Peace wherein not only was their redemption for all but the "middle wall of separation" between Jew (Judah) and Greek (the Nations) was broken down by His Cross-the Two were made One!Not only is this in history past, the "early rain" but it is likewise, the "latter rain" - which shall be greater than the former! We see the Valley of Dry Bones in Ezekiel 37 representing the WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL-Judah (Israel 2 Southern Tribes), and Ephraim (i.e., Israel's 10 Northern Tribes scattered among the nations). We are literally coming together in a final end-time revival, awakening. The hatred and animosity is OVER! The United Kingdom of David is our stand - our prophetic destiny.Ezekiel 37 not only tells us that the Almighty is raising up from this Valley of Dry Bones a MIGHTY ARMY in whom His Holy Breath shall breathe LIFE into them all-but they, as well, constitute the Stick of Judah (the Southern Kingdom) and the Stick of Joseph, which is the Stick of Ephraim (the Northern Kingdom) "and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand . . . Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God . . . David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd . . . and My servant David shall be their prince forever" (Ezk. 37:15-28, excerpts). This, we affirm, is the answer to our Lord's prayer in John 17-"that they all may be one" (John 17:21). The editors sought to align the chapters of this compendium in some order that could be followed-it wasn't easy-you'll have to be the judge on that one. But, and oddly enough-and we certainly didn't plan it this way-we wound up with twelve authors (not that we wanted to highlight the twelve tribes)-it just turned out that way. - Excerpts from the Preface. One in Messiah, the book, is offered by the Commonwealth of Israel Foundation non-profit organization which will receive 100% of the book's proceeds. For information about the Foundation's purpose, beliefs, and goals visit CommonwealthOfIsrael.com or .org. This edition also includes the Denver Declaration 2019 as crafted June 2019
