About the Book

Athinia and Doc were snuggled up in the comfortable, cushioned back seat of Doc's well-maintained pickup truck, enjoying the warmth of each other's company as they made their way towards the warehouse located on the outskirts of the city. The warehouse, a vast industrial building, was surrounded by an open expanse of deserted land, the silence of which was only broken by the hum of their truck's engine. As they drew closer, they could see that the warehouse was dimly lit, with only a few flickering lights casting eerie shadows across the exterior of the building. The towering steel doors of the warehouse were imposing, with intricate engravings etched into the metal surface, adding to their ominous appearance. As they approached, the sound of the truck's tires crunching on the gravel ground echoed through the stillness of the night, intensifying their sense of apprehension.
Athinia was lost in thought, thinking about her dream of opening a strip club with Doc. She had been captivated by the idea ever since she began reading steamy novels. Athinia was well aware that she needed more money to make her dream come true. She decided to focus her energy on her writing and gather inspiration from her favorite coffee shop or bookstore that she would visit often.
On the chilly February night, the sky was adorned with luminous stars that sparkled elegantly, creating a mesmerizing sight overhead. The air was fresh and cool, filling their lungs with a refreshing sensation. The only sound that could be heard was the truck's engine as they drove towards the warehouse, breaking the otherwise tranquil silence of the night.
Athinia's mind was wholly preoccupied with the idea of creating a beautiful garden in her new home. She had been searching for the perfect location for quite some time now and couldn't wait to get started on bringing her vision to life.
As she sat there, lost in thought, her mind wandered to all the possibilities that awaited her. She imagined a lush green space filled with vibrant flowers and fragrant herbs and a towering serene oasis where she could relax, unwind, and see nature's beauty.
Athinia felt excitement and anticipation build within her as she thought about the endless opportunities for creativity and self-expression that her garden would provide. She knew that bringing her dreams to fruition would take time, effort, and dedication, but she was more than ready for the challenge.
Phil and his friend sat in silence, the only sound in the room being the occasional shuffling of papers. Athinia's best friend's ex-husband appeared lost in thought, his eyes fixed on the insurance policy in front of him. Phil knew that the insurance policy was their only way out, their ticket to a new life in Canada. They had waited months for this moment, and the pressure was mounting. If his ex-wife did not pass away soon, they would be stuck in their current situation, unable to claim the policy and start their new life. The weight of the situation was palpable, and Phil could feel his heart racing as he waited for a sign that they could move forward.
The car rolled down the empty road, and inside, a group of individuals sat silently, their eyes fixed on the dimly lit warehouse that was gradually coming into view. Each person was lost in their own thoughts, their minds racing with excitement, anxiety, and anticipation. As they approached their destination, the air was charged with electric energy, and the only sound that could be heard was the soft hum of the car's engine. They all shared a common goal - to make their dreams a reality - and they knew that this warehouse was the first step towards achieving it.
