About the Book

Book Language: Italiano/English Poems in Italian with English translation Poesie in italiano con traduzione in inglese Each poem is an initiatory journey that is continuously growing and each time a little miracle happens, a spark set off, and feeds the fire that changes us from the inside; we will be different from before, neither better nor worse, just different. Even love, in this context, takes on other dimensions, acts in a completely different scenario; joy or suffering of lovers becomes an excuse, an opportunity to universalize one or the other, to speak of both. It is a passage from one world to another. The title of the collection indicates and summarizes the transience and perhaps the impossibility of giving a systematic order to the set of values, impulses, passions, feelings and emotions that encourage us to be what we are. The verses are slivers which navigate, such as rock fragments, in that great infinite space, unknown, fantastic, that is in each of us. Sometimes we can pick up some of those fragments, put them together to find out what stories tell, what to they teach us, what they tell us. A fragment does not indicate by what great work of art it comes; it only push to look for. The rest we will have to find out for yourself.
