Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Allgemein, Note: 2,3, Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Erziehungswissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Schulkritik im 20. Jahrhundert, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Durch die rasante Industrialisierung und Modernisierung entwickelte sich im 20. Jahrhundert in der Gesellschaft der starke Wunsch nach einer Veränderung und einer Umgestaltung in jeglichen Bereichen des Lebens. Dies löste vor allem im Erziehungswesen und in der Bildungspolitik vehemente Kritik aus. Die daraus resultierenden Ansätze von unterschiedlichen Erziehungskonzepten, die auf die Verbesserung im Bildungs- und im Erziehungsbereich zielten, wurden unter dem Begriff "Reformpädagogik" zusammengefasst. Im Zuge der Reformpädagogik entstand unter anderem das Konzept des Landerziehungsheims, dessen Hauptziel die Entwicklung einer "Erziehungsgemeinschaft" ist, in der Schüler und Lehrer im Laufe der Zeit ein familiäres Verhältnis miteinander aufbauen. Das sehr Individuums orientierte Konzept bringt jedoch auch seine Schattenseiten mit sich. Die Odenwaldschule in Ober-Hambach, die auch mit dem Konzept des Landerziehungsheims bedacht ist, zeigt uns weshalb das familiäre und enge Verhältnis zwischen Schülern und Lehrern nicht immer pädagogisch wertvoll ist. Seit 1999 kamen immer mehr Missbrauchsfälle aus der Schule ans Tageslicht, nachdem sich zwei ehemalige Schüler der Odenwaldschule dazu entschieden mit ihren Vorwürfen an die Öffentlichkeit zu gehen. Die Frage, mit der sich diese Hausarbeit beschäftigt ist, ob gerade diese stark am Individuum orientierten Institutionen, die durch die Reformpädagogik ausgelöst wurden, Formen von sexuellem Missbrauch begünstigen. Meine Aufgabe besteht darin das Erzieher-Zögling Verhältnis an ausgewählten Landerziehungsheimen zu analysieren und anschließend einen Zusammenhang zwischen dem Verhältnis der Schüler und Lehrer und dem sexuellen Kindesmissbrauch zu finden.
