Love. Hope. Care. Sacrifice. Belief. We all need and search for them, but how they turn to be for a blind girl and her family? You will find the answer in The Nursery of Light. A blind girl who is always thirsty for new colors, new world, thirsty for discovery will tell you more about the magic of life. Have you ever felt that you closed your eyes and miss lots of beautiful things outside? This poor little girl will inspire you to open your eyes wide, to love more, to care more, to discover more and to enjoy your life. It is a song of life, of love, of sacrifice, of effort, of hope and of the belief. At the deepest layer, we - human beings - are all blind if we don't have a belief that lead us to a more noble life. And I write in poem because I believe that it's a great way to recite my story and I believe that we are humans, the most natural part in our soul always has a sense and a love for poetry, poetry has a power to wake up our imagination.
To tell the truth, The Nursery of Light is a fiction work, but really, it's not the work of my imagination. I wrote The Nursery of Light to speak out my fate, my pain and my hope for my daughter.
Due to a very serious problem when I gave birth to her, she was nearly died. We suffered a very tough time seeking hope for her. Finally, we overcame it but my daughter suffers mental delay development and other problems and many times it make us feel that we are in such a blind world. She's a poor special girl, not like other children. We sometimes feel hopeless and feel the darkness is around her, and always search for the light. Till now, we even cannot bear thinking of the future. And I know that, the light of mind and soul, the spiritual light is much more important than the physical light. In the effort seeking hope for my daughter and bringing hope for others who are in need, I wrote out my heart.
I am not sure how my work touches your heart, but I am sure that I am doing my best to sending you a message of love and belief.
