Quel est le problème ?
Le numérique s'est installé partout et il n'a pas modifié que le rythme de nos vies. Tout a changé en profondeur: nos rapports aux autres, l'apprentissage, l'éducation, la prise de connaissance et d'informations... Il s'agit bien d'une mutation anthropologique: l'avènement d'un nouveau type de société post numérique.

Tout se passe tellement vite avec le numérique que l'on s'y adapte tant bien que mal, sans comprendre vraiment les concepts, sans pouvoir utiliser au mieux les outils, sans les maitriser vraiment ni les contrôler. Les technologies numériques évoluent plus rapidement que notre capacité à les prendre en main et à anticiper l'évolution de leurs usages, tels l'intelligence artificielle ou le transhumanisme. De plus en plus rapidement....
Un conseil l'Humanité arrête de courir après le numérique, tu ne vas déjà plus assez vite et le trop d'informations, de sollicitations que l'on met à ta disposition est indigeste.

Pourquoi ce livre ?
Le concept de "Singularité Technologique" désigne le moment où la machine dépassera l'homme dans sa capacité de compréhension du monde, de traitement de l'information et de décision. Ce moment où l'intelligence inorganique induira des changements imprévisibles et où le progrès sera l'oeuvre des machines plutôt que des humains.
J'ai décidé d'écrire ce livre quand je me suis rendu compte que nous allions atteindre en 2023 ce que j'appellerais la "Singularité Créative". Ce moment où les intelligences inorganiques génèrent plus de contenus (texte, images, musiques, ...) que l'ensemble de l'humanité. C'est un point important car ce sont ces contenus qui alimentent les réponses et les raisonnements des IA déjà omniprésentes: en effet elles pilotent nos voitures, nos moteurs de recherches, décident de l'ouverture de nos comptes en banque, de l'obtention de nos crédits, de nos assurances.... C'est donc le numérique qui va non seulement savoir, mais qui va auto générer son savoir !

Le numérique de masse est apparu dans les années 80 avec la micro informatique. Quarante ans plus tard on peut échanger avec des centaines de millions de personnes sur les réseaux sociaux, trouver n'importe quelle information, rencontrer son âme soeur, acheter en quelques clics, sous traiter tant de choses aux IA et aux robots.

Ces dernières années doivent nous rendre humbles sur notre capacité à imaginer comment sera le monde dans quarante ans, et responsables sur comment on aimerait qu'il soit.
