Con Nuestro Tajo, iniciamos un recorrido por el río Tajo desde el castillo de Oreja hasta Algodor, recuperando la memoria de los vecinos que han vivido y sufrido el río en carne propia, lo han amado y disfrutado, lo han sufrido y lo han temido. Recorreremos sus meandros, conoceremos a sus víctimas y nos dejaremos acariciar por el eco que aún retumba de las risas infantiles en sus playas. Saltaremos por sus cascadas y nos aferraremos al olor ahumado de aquellos guisos con leña al pie de sus caceras. Nos dejaremos así envolver por el sonido perturbador de sus nubes de insectos: mariposas, libélulas, mosquitos... de ese zumbido hipnótico, ese umbral sonoro, que nos empujará a adentrarnos en otra dimensión, a abrirnos paso en esa selva de recuerdos.
El río será nuestro maestro iniciático en este viaje al pasado. Desenterraremos algunas de sus historias más íntimas y dolorosas y aprenderemos a amar su sinfonía, sus colores, el olor a su agua fresca. Nos dejaremos arrastrar por su suave corriente para conocer, no la vida de otros, no la de reyes ni generales, sino la nuestra, la de la gente corriente. La de los pescadores a trasmallo en la Junta de los ríos, la de las bandas de adolescentes que bajaban en cámaras infladas, la de los dueños de los gangos, la de los gancheros, la de los aguadores y hortelanos o la de los turistas que en masa nos visitaron en sus años dorados.

Nos enfrentaremos a los nazis en el Rana Verde y desplegaremos pancartas con los ecologistas.
