About the Book

Now That's Just Stupid: Living Life from Pain to Purpose is a journey through real life situations and the steps to recover from them. The ultimate goal is to heal from your pain and find your purpose. Each chapter takes you through personal details of heartache, pain, abuse, relationships, friendships, business arenas, worthiness and hardships. At the end of each story are thoughts on how you identify with the story and what needs changed. Then questions follow to do the work and uncover embedded issues, feel the pain, fix what you can and forget the rest. Everybody has a story. Sometimes those stories end before they even get started while others continue on repeatedly with no end in sight. There are strong voices in those stories that guide our lives in various directions. Some create memories that are sharable. But other times, there are memories that need buried just to cope. The problem with the story is it becomes our life's movie reel and often we become addicted to it. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a thriller, a documentary, a deep enthralled love story or a painful reality show. Whatever the internal story we create and repeat it's usually intertwined with difficult memories that changed us. It's in those memories where our stupid resides, pain controls us and our purpose is waiting to get out. For many, we try to out run it; pretend it didn't exist or in shame, deny we ever made stupid decisions. The worst of them are the choices built on circumstances that ultimately cause a pain that never heals. Some cause goodbyes that leave an imprinted memory on our soul that inevitably changes our course. But those same goodbyes can serve as a lighthouse. They can guide you in the direction to learn, change, rise above and become the best you imaginable. So for all those stupid life choices and webbed situations we thank you for giving us the "aha" moment to make a change. It was those painful and disastrous situations where we could reap the benefits in our lives and create the life we were always meant to live. Real life scenarios leading you from Pain to Purpose
