Darauffolgend befasst sich das nächste Kapitel mit der Frage, ob die Förderung von Vielfalt im Unternehmen notwendig ist, welche Unternehmen in Deutschland sich bereits mit Diversity Management intensiv beschäftigen und welche Dimensionen des Diversity Managements von besonderer Bedeutung sind. Das abschließende Fazit hat das Ziel dieses Thema nochmals kritisch zu betrachten und die Ergebnisse dieser Arbeit zu resümieren. Die anhaltenden umfangreichen Veränderungen der wirtschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen stellen momentan die deutschen Unternehmen vor große Herausforderungen. Die Gründe für diese weitreichenden Veränderungen sind zum einen die weiter fortschreitende Digitalisierung und zum anderen der zunehmende Globalisierungsdruck, welcher durch den gesellschaftlichen Wandel in Deutschland noch intensiviert wird. Der langfristige Trend einer schrumpfenden und alternden Gesellschaft ist unübersehbar und nicht mehr aufhaltbar. Eine resultierende Entwicklung aus diesem Trend ist der Fachkräftemangel, welcher besser bekannt ist unter den Namen "War for Talents". Somit ist es für Unternehmen unabdingbar alle Ressourcen des Arbeitsmarktes zu erschließen, um die langfristige Sicherung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit zu ermöglichen. Eine Möglichkeit diesen Fachkräftemangel vorzubeugen, ist die zunehmende Heterogenität, bedingt durch den wachsenden Anteil von Frauen, älteren Mitarbeitern und Mitarbeitern anderer ethnischer Herkunft, sowie die veränderten Wert- und Lebenseinstellungen, zu nutzen und diese in die Unternehmensstrukturen zu implem
