About the Book

No Bathroom Breaks in the NFL: What it Takes to Play in the National Football League, is an All Pro's perspective of what goes on behind the scenes in the NFL. Today's football league-and its players are entirely different than when the game originated. Authors Jason Babin and Matthew Cooper lift the curtain on the minutiae you may have often wondered...but did not know who to ask. Together they expose everything from how players are picked and how many Superbowl tickets players in the NFL receive, to how much players pay to wear their favorite jersey number and the definition of pooch-kick. This is a must-read for football enthusiasts, and those who wonder about all the hype.
About the Author: Jason Babin is a native of Paw Paw, Michigan where he was a star athlete at Paw Paw High School; being selected for state honors in football, wrestling, and track and field. He attended Western Michigan University and played for the university's Bronco Football team where he was recognized as first-team and second-team All American honors by the NFL Draft Report College Record, and Sports Illustrated respectively. After graduation, he was a first-round draft pick for the Houston Texans where he played from 2004-06. He went on to play for the Seattle Seahawks (2007-08), Kansas City Chiefs (2008), Philadelphia Eagles (2009), Tennessee Titans (2010), Philadelphia Eagles (2011-12), Jacksonville Jaguars (2013), New York Jets (2014), the Baltimore Ravens (2015), and the Arizona Cardinals (2015). He currently lives in Florida with his wife and children. Matthew R. Cooper made national headlines and has been featured in The New York Times, and on various media such as the CBS Evening News and National Public Radio, for his role as the lead litigator in the landmark Hurley Case. He represented U.S. Army Sgt. James Hurley, an Iraq War Veteran from Hartford, Michigan, whose home was illegally foreclosed as he served in Iraq. Cooper helped Hurley in a battle against Wall Street that would forever protect the rights of all personnel serving in the United States Military. It resulted in millions of dollars in retribution paid to soldiers by banks due to illegal foreclosure during their active duty service in battle. His actions effectuated amendments by Congress to the Servicemembers' Civil Relief Act. The court case resulted in Cooper's debut book, A Soldier's Home: United States Servicemembers vs. Wall Street. He graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in public administration and political science, and received his JD from Valperasio University School of Law in Indiana. He currently has a law office in Paw Paw, Michigan and serves as chairman of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act Foundation.
