What if all you had to do was look at someone during the night, and see that they were a murderer. What if you could see something in them, that absolutely no one else had the ability to do? To know that without even the smallest ounce of uncertainty, that they committed the heinous crime of killing. What if you knew it were true, because you saw the same thing in yourself. Like a neon sign lighting up the night, a light shining so bright, but you're the only one who sees it. Justin was your typical teenager. No sad story about a horrible family dynamic. As an only child, all of the love and attention that his parents could, and did, shower him with, he received. But something was gnawing at him. Something nobody could, or would ever explain. Like a never ending bottomless pit of inexplicable curiosity. The curiosity that would turn him into a serial killer. It started with a boyhood friend, and ended with strangers he would never have known had it not been for the appetite that he had to keep feeding. While the law finally caught up with him, and put him in prison; patiently paid his dues. Then one day as he was preparing for his release from prison after serving his time, something happened. That something would be the death of his beloved mother Marnie. Her past was something she hid from Justin, and his father; her husband. Her past was something she knew would inevitably catch up with her, so she laid the foundation that would vindicate her if her intuitions were to come true. When that day did indeed happen, she had already set in motion the path to her killer, even though she didn't know who it would be. What she did know, was that whoever it was, her son Justin would be an unknowing participant in not only his own protection from her past, but he would hold the key in tracking that killer down, and bringing them to justice. That path would begin with the simple action of looking in a mirror. That mirror was in Justin's cell, and what he saw would be something that only some form of witchcraft could create. He just didn't know it yet. His release would soon lead him to the answer. And lead him to others only he sees. And what he sees are victims. Victims on, and of, every suspect. How is it nobody else can see their names? They're practically blinding. There must be a reason he sees what he sees. He just doesn't know that he IS the reason. He'll find out soon enough though. He's about to blindside them all.
