About the Book

The old man's heart missed a beat as out of the darkness the man dressed in black suddenly appeared. The man wore a long flowing cloak; under the cloak he had a white shirt under a fine black waist coat. His black trousers' came from the finest shop's as did all his attire, to complete the picture of elegance he wore black leather boots, with a buckle on the front. The old man nodded to his friend and turning round without a word spoken he entered the hospital, the other man followed close behind. They walked down the long corridor; their foot step's echoing on the marble floor. They stopped half way along the corridor outside a door which read two B.The two men paused as another raking cough broke the silent night. The old man stepped aside and the man in the cloak went into the room alone. He looked down at the tiny frame of the girl on the white bed. A tear ran down his cheek. He didn't need to turn on the over head light. He could see perfectly well in the dark. He walked around the bed and sat down by the side of the little girl. Bending slowly over, he took the girl in his arms gently lifting her. He brushed away her long blonde hair from her neck; he looked down at the tender young flesh now ravaged by disease. He leaned over and opened his mouth, revealing two long sharp fangs.===========But of course she knew lots of people in the business in fact there was a movie which needed funding right now. Needless to say I arranged to see her and the director the next day. I met them the next evening in a small cafe, Bow Wilson was a larger than life American man, and he obviously liked his food. He must have weighed well over twenty stone but he was a jolly fellow with a fat round baby face his black hair swept back over his head. I agreed to put up the money but I was to be a silent partner, I stressed to them that no one must know about me. We shook hands and I said the money would be in Bow's account the following day. That night after the cafe Cindy invited me back to her flat at the palace tower in mid town New York. I meet her long time friend and bodyguard Jeff Okoh, he came from Africa and he was very dark skinned and was build like a tank. He didn't talk much but I could sense he was a good man at heart. We sat down and she had a drink, I declined the offer, then while we were talking the door opened and in walked her boyfriend. I at once took a dislike to this man, I read him like a book, and he was a weedy little money grabbing wimp who only cared about number one. He looked at me and gave me a sneer, I stared back. Cindy got up and introduced us, and I shook his hand and noticed he gave me a little squeeze as if to say back off buster. He wanted me out of the room this I could tell without reading his mind. I made sure I over stayed my welcome.By the end of the evening he was ready to ring someone to take care of me; he really didn't like me at all. I said my good byes and before I left I looked deep into Cindy's eye's, I put her in a semi trance, she would now do anything for me.
