About the Author: Nick C. Brady was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Gary, Indiana. Since an early age, he has always loved reading books by R.L Stine, James Baldwin, Mildred Taylor, Christopher Paul Curtis, and many others. It was his love for reading that honed his skills and gradually manifested into a passion for writing.
By the time he was 13, he had already started writing his first book Danger in the House, which he self published at age 18. And a year later, he released his second title, Strangers in the Swamp. Nick's writing style has been described as, "Very pleasing and engaging." Readers can relate to his diverse characters that drive the story page after page. And although he depicts his target audience as Young Adults, adults enjoy his unique stories as well.
Nick's latest thriller, Night Ghost first came to him during his senior year in high school. But he didn't start officially writing it until years later while he attended college at Purdue University. Set in a fictional town near his own, Nick weaves an intriguing tale that becomes quite mysterious as the plot unravels to the shocking truth behind Night Ghost. This is his first novel where he has drawn from names and events that occurred in his family from Greenville, Mississippi.
After earning his Bachelors in English/Writing, Nick began working with children. First as an afterschool tutor/mentor then as a Reading Intervention Teacher. He plans to return to school to earn his Masters Degree and would eventually like to become a college professor in creative writing. In addition to writing, Nick also enjoys listening to music, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
