Three-year-old Marcos lost his mother-and he's about to lose his father too. But before Santiago leaves, he's determined to find Marcos a new mamá and ensure his son isn't left to suffer any more from his mistakes.
Nice 2 Meet U, Marcos is a surprisingly redemptive tale that follows two separate stories that converge around a young boy who simply wants to love and be loved.
Santiago may only be twenty, but he's already experienced great loss, surviving only by dealing drugs for the Mexican Mafia. When his girlfriend is debilitated by depression and his grandmother's poor health no longer allows her to care for his son, Santiago knows the only way to save his beloved Marcos is to give him to someone else.
Evelyn is everything Santiago is not-legally employed, wealthy, married, childless, and safe. Her worst enemy at the moment is a boss whose job she's after, but that merely earns her snide remarks rather than potential gunfire. But like Santiago, whom she'll never meet, Evelyn's world changes the moment she encounters Marcos...
Split into a dual narrative, the novel flips between the parallel stories of Santiago and Evelyn as they struggle to do right by Marcos.
