About the Book

Leon Wylet is a magic school headmaster. Once a whitelighter, then an elder, he's now a human who also practices magic. He used to run The Academy in San Francisco until his wife was murdered. She was a powerful witch, one of The Sisters... the original Power of Three. To escape the past and deal with her death, Leon moved over 400 miles away to open a new school for magical teens hidden in the oasis of Mojave, California. He has two sons. The oldest is Wylet, a possible murderer, who remained at the Frisco school. His youngest, Christian, attends the Mojave boarding school where his dad is the headmaster. The teen has the powers of telekinesis (move stuff), pyrochenesis (throw fireballs) and he can orb (teleport). According to his faint memories, he was there the night his mother died a couple of years ago when he was just 14 years old.Sasha is his first cousin. Her mother is a witch and her father is a cupid. She started attending the Frisco magic school as a kid, although she didn't live in the dorm. It was the best way to help her get a handle on her power to freeze people and things, but still get daily magical influences from her parents. But when she was about 15, she realized she had the power to shimmer in place. That's when her mother sent her off to Uncle Leon's Mojave magic school for full-time training two years ago.Dana, their long lost cousin, hasn't seen the family since her parents left Frisco years ago when she was a toddler. She had been living in Los Angeles with her parole officer father, three younger brothers and mother, who's always been a bit neglectful. Then, one day her parents realize that the strange dreams she's been having are actually premonitions. She finds out she's a teen witch and that her mother is also one of The Sisters as well as a full-time whitelighter. Off to Uncle Leon's Academy to perfect her powers. All three cousins are fighting their own fears, just like most people in life. But it's those fears that could be their downfalls when they "accidentally" conjure up a couple of demons while trying to figure out who killed Christian's mom. This leads to a boatload of hidden family secrets coming out as well as some decisions that only teen witches could make. What they choose to do could mean the downfall of their entire family... or humankind, for that matter. Both demons have deep-rooted pasts with The Sisters, who were responsible for vanquishing both of them to purgatory years ago. Barbas, the demon of fear, found a loophole to return to earth to play on the fears of the teen witches. If he's successful, he can remain here forever. Khol, on the other hand, was accidentally summoned by the teens, thanks to Sasha's obsession with the Book of Shadows. Now that he's here, he's vowed to take back what he believes belongs to him. Will these two demons wreak havoc on the lives of these three teens? Will Barbas succeed at using their fears to bring them down? Or will they prevail as the offspring of The Sisters... the original Power of Three?
