About the Book

Candid, heartfelt, true story.

Adventures and inner journey, expectations and reality, travel and relationships, at the end of the day, it is all about love which changes everything and what we have to go through to feel it.
A candid narrator tells about herself, a young woman who tries to find a way to be happy by unconditionally loving everyone in this world. She sets out for a journey with her mysterious partner and takes the reader all across Europe, India, Morocco, and the Canary Islands. Together they meditate, fast, experiment, and what not. Whereas, her inner growth and the anticipation of the New Age which would bring a beautiful transformation of the entire humanity are felt throughout.

"Brilliant, personal, open-heartedly taled coming of age story about a young woman seeking for the true love, true self and the bright new age for humanity on this beautiful planet, in the backdrop of a natural and free world of hippies.

Personally, I find this story emotionally and mentally stimulating, stirring up and bringing up things in me that are often hidden or harder to deal with. I found myself reading a chapter and taking longer breaks to digest and reflect on what just happened, both in a narrative of this book and within me.

I really felt for the characters in the book, almost like being there, whatever they were going through. Being in love, falling out of love. Travelling through heavily guarded country borders without passports or loaded with recreational substances. Living in fairytale-like settings surrounded by mountains and valleys, in yurts all wrapped in the cosiness of wool and woodburning fire. Feeling on edge, dreamy, being transformed, threatened to lose, jealous, crazy, elevated, loved, cared for, abandoned. Committing to higher ideals and unconventional relationships yet finding oneself in an utter abyss of hatred, anger and jealousy. Seeking enlightenment, bliss and openheartedness, fasting for months, losing material attachments, realising human potential, expanding horizons of freedom, sheltering in hippy settlements on southern waterfronts and beaches, meeting people, letting go, bathing in the river Ganges, feeling its sacredness, being guided by the universe, connecting, learning about world religions and traditions of wisdom and practising them and letting them go and so much more.

Meeting your shadow is a difficult thing. Dealing with ego and trauma from the past, being mirrored parts of yourself you don't want to see or don't want to accept is difficult too. And this has a big role in this story, with tremendous sincerity and detail described are the darkest and the lightest of feelings and thoughts. Probably this was one of the reasons I found this story so therapeutic and even healing.

This book is also full packed of adventures, painting a vivid living picture of a new age travellers lifestyle: moving around with caravans and yurts, camping in beautiful nature all across Europe, living in alternative communities, attending arts and crafts festivals, being taken by the biggest religious festival in India, bathing with babas, living in caves on subtropical islands, soap bubbling in streets for a living, squatting in London etc.

I couldn't recommend it more, it's a journey within and journey without, beautiful, meaningful and touching."
