About the Author: Pia Winkler, (geboren 1991 in Dresden) entschied sich nach dem Abitur für die Tourismus-Branche, da ihre Sehnsucht für das Reisen und fremde Sprachen bereits in ihrer Kindheit geweckt wurde. Während des dualen Bachelor-Studiums "Tourismuswirtschaft" arbeitete sie in einem Reisebüro und führte fortan ein Pendler-Leben, in dem Studien-, Arbeits- und Wohnort in verschiedenen Städten zu finden waren. Seitdem ließ sie der Tourismus-Sektor endgültig nicht mehr los, daher widmete sie sich auch in ihrem Master-Studium "Marketing-Management im Tourismus" weiterhin dieser Thematik. Die entfachte Leidenschaft für Marketing ließ sich perfekt mit dem Tourismus verbinden und verschafft ihr noch heute tägliche Überraschungen, unerwartete Wendungen und spannende Erlebnisse in diesem einzigartigen Arbeitsfeld. Pia Winkler besetzt aktuell die Stelle als Internationale Projektmanagerin an der FHM Schwerin, durch die sie beinahe all ihre Vorstellungen umsetzen und mit dem Reisen verbinden kann.
