Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Schulwesen, Bildungs- u. Schulpolitik, Note: 2,3, Technische Universität Dortmund, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: "Die neue Schuleingangsstufe - eine Herausforderung schulpädagogischer Reform" ist das Thema meiner Arbeit. In den vergangenen Jahren ist das deutsche Bildungssystem zunehmend kritisiert worden. Ausgelöst haben die Diskussionen die Ergebnisse der in den Jahren 2000 und 2003 durchgeführten weltweit größten Schulleistungsuntersuchung "PISA". In beiden Tests erzielte Deutschland als eines der führenden Länder in Europa jedoch überraschender Weise nur unzureichende Ergebnisse. "Das deutsche Bildungssystem hat versagt: Es ist ungerecht und produziert Mittelmaß" (ZEIT). Daraufhin wurden in der Politik, sowie in der Gesellschaft Stimmen laut, welche eine Reformierung des Schulsystems forderten. Schnell wurde klar, dass die Ursachen im Bildungssystem zu suchen sind, welches nicht rechtzeitig auf die Veränderungen in der Gesellschaft reagiert hat. Kinder wachsen heut zu Tage in immer unterschiedlicheren Lebensbedingungen auf. Dem zu Folge steigt die Heterogenität in den kindlichen Entwicklungs- und Lernvoraussetzungen. Deutschland muss nun reagieren wenn sie den Anschluss an die Sieger des Pisatests nicht verlieren möchte. Wie kann man nun aber diese "Bildungsmisere" hinter sich lassen? Sollte man vielleicht die in Deutschland herrschende Unterrichtsform die Jahrgangsklasse noch einmal hinsichtlich ihrer Effektivität prüfen? Der Heterogenität der Lernvoraussetzungen, Begabungen und Entwicklungen der Kinder kann in den Jahrgangsklassen nicht genügend Rechnung getragen werden. Schon seit Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde in der Reformpädagogik die Sinnhaftigkeit des jahrgangsbezogenen Unterrichts in Frage gestellt. Maria Montessori und Peter Petersen waren dabei die Reformpädagogen die dem altersgemischten Unterricht eine besondere Bedeutung zuwiesen.
