About the Author: Michael K Paraiso was born in Chicago Ill in 1962 and grew up in Miami Fl. Married his wife Karen since 1988, had daughter Nicole in August of 1994. He's an accomplished expert in the electronic security industry. Michael was first inspired to write the Nephilim Brood in late August 1992, days after hurricane Andrew had first made land fall. He awoke to the sound of a chainsaw, sweat-soaked from the south Florida heat, with the basic plot to this story fresh in his head. He was disappointed that he was awakened from such an adventure, but grateful he remembered this amazing story. Years had passed since then and he suddenly had the desire to write this epic tail. He's well aware of some of the controversial content of this fictional story, but Michael was compelled to write it unencumbered and just let the story flow without reservation.
