About the Book

The award-winning book, Navigating the Maze unravels the massive industry operating behind little-known utility bill fees. An industry flooded with energy saving products, services and proposals - some worthy, some not.

In this easy to read story of a local restaurant owner, the author provides a guide to energy efficiency for professionals and homeowners who wish to reduce their expenses, improve their comfort and make the most of their money.

In an entertaining and accessible manner, this book establishes a framework for identifying the most lucrative opportunities, addresses common oversights and pitfalls, and supplies the reader with vital tools and resources.

It clearly lays out six essential criteria and how to evaluate each, empowering the reader to make the most informed decision and achieve the best results on any project.

Author Julia, an energy efficiency veteran, draws on his wide range of experience to educate the reader through Joe Stevenson, a composite of many of his own clients, who is experiencing several common operating issues.

As Joe begins the process to resolve his issues, he discovers some surprising truths that are affecting his bottom line and preventing his business from succeeding.

The decisions Joe makes at each step guides the reader through the maze and demonstrates how wise energy efficiency decisions provide long-term and immediate value to any company, home or project.
