About the Author: ABOUT THE AUTHOR After graduating in Science with Botany, Zoology and Chemistry as subjects, Mr. SYED TAHSIN AHMED did his post-graduation in English literature from the University of Mysore. After his studies, the author was teaching English language and literature in the Al-Ameen Degree College at Bangalore. Thereafter, he joined the State Government and served as a senior officer in the Karnataka Administrative Service till his retirement in the year 2012. He has held many responsible posts in his career of 35 years. A native of Mysore city, he has settled in Bangalore city in Karnataka State of India. Mr. S. Tahsin Ahmed, despite his bureaucratic background, has a passion and flair for writing. Many of his articles on various topics have been published in leading newspapers like The Indian Express, The Deccan Herald, The Asian Age and reputed magazines like The Woman's Era, Alive, Islamic Voice and Young Muslim Digest.
