Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2018 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensethik, Wirtschaftsethik, Note: 1,0, IST-Hochschule für Management, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In vorliegender Hausarbeit wird die Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie des Sportartikelherstellers PUMA dargestellt. Die Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie nennt PUMA "10FOR20". Darin definierte PUMA im Jahr 2015 zehn übergeordnete Nachhaltigkeitsziele, die bis 2020 erreicht werden sollen. Im Rahmen der Hausarbeit wird eine Untersuchung dieser Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie hinsichtlich der Einhaltung der ISO26000-Kernthemen durchgeführt. Die internationale ISO26000-Norm fungiert als Leitfaden, der sich an Unternehmen und sämtliche andere Organisationen richtet und diese unterstützt, gesellschaftliche Verantwortung zu übernehmen. Die sieben Kernthemen der ISO26000-Norm lauten Unternehmensführung, Umwelt, Menschenrechte, Arbeitspraktiken, faire Betriebs- & Geschäftspraktiken, Konsumentenanliegen, Einbindung und Entwicklung der Gemeinschaft. Gegründet wurde die PUMA SE im Jahr 1948 von Rudolf Dassler, Bruder von Adidas Gründer Adolf Dassler. Im selben Jahr fand die Eintragung ins Handelsregister als "PUMA Schuhfabrik Rudolf Dassler" statt. Bis heute liegt der Hauptsitz im bayrischen Herzogenaurach. Nachdem das Unternehmen im Jahr 1986 an die Börse ging und bis 2011 als deutsche Aktiengesellschaft galt, wurde PUMA 2011 umgewandelt in eine europäische Aktiengesellschaft, abgekürzt SE. Diese international gestaltete Rechtsform zeichnet folgendes aus: Sie erhöht die Flexibilität in der Corporate Governance, da eine monistische Unternehmensstruktur gewählt werden kann, die als deutsche Aktiengesellschaft nicht möglich wäre. Dies erhöht die Akzeptanz bei ausländischen Investoren. Sie erleichtert grenzüberschreitende Kooperationen mit anderen Unternehmen und unterstreicht durch ein positives Image die globale Ausrichtung eines Unternehmens.
