A história do México carrega em seus ombros emoções, lutas e identidades que a constroem, moldam e decidem. Até 1821, seus habitantes pré-hispânicos, crioulos e mestiços mergulharam nas águas profundas do colonialismo, conquista, segregação, racismo e injustiça. .
A partir de 1810, quando foi alcançada a emancipação nacional, até a morte de José María Morelos y Pavón, fuzilado em 1815, o desenho da nova identidade mexicana começou com a mistura hispânica e rural, com as raças nativas e a genética do Novo México. ressentidos e desconfiados de se entrincheirarem em seus costumes e rituais originais sem perder sua essência, mas aceitando as novas formas de convivência sujeitas à dominação e capricho das correntes europeias, da posição dominante dos crioulos e mestiços para segregar as raças dos antigos impérios astecas ou maias ao degrau mais baixo do progresso e estabelecer hierarquias sociais como coexistência de classes
Após as velhas lutas pelo poder entre a conquista e a busca de privilégios, a perda de territórios ou o acerto de contas entre os ressentidos, a força militar está presente para impor condições de privilégio entre uns poucos para dominar a maioria.
A primeira tentativa democrática de ordenar legalmente a nova nação libertada e independente foi formulada em 1814 no congresso de Chilpancingo com um projeto de lei que daria vida à primeira Constituição federal dos Estados Unidos Mexicanos após a conquista da independência do México em 28 de setembro. 1821, esta Magna Carta é sancionada em 4 de outubro de 1824 como a Constituição de Apatzingán para capturar as aspirações de liberdade e justiça social para todos.
Em meados do século XIX, após 48 anos de independência, na distribuição do poder político, surgiram dois grupos antagônicos entre liberais e conservadores quando a primeira constituição liberal foi estruturada em 1857 sob a orientação de Sebastián Lerdo de Tejada, Benito Juárez e José Maria. Iglesias, que empreendem um novo sentido de governo para melhorar as condições da maioria, foi a busca do equilíbrio e a distribuição dos benefícios das lutas sociais, a guerra da reforma alcança mudanças e rumos para o futuro na primeira guerra civil do novo país.
Muito distantes eram as aspirações sociais das classes marginalizadas quando na nova ordem política se configuram consórcios, fazendas, privilégios de classe e distribuição desigual da terra, segregam ou discriminam os habitantes do meio rural, foco original de descontentamento quando na distribuição da terra os despojos de guerra os soldados e as forças armadas tomam o poder econômico e após a invasão francesa, Porfirio Díaz conduz o país ao autoritarismo, ao poder único e ao controle das massas insatisfeitas por 35 longos anos.
Após o surgimento da revolução mexicana em 1910, surgiu uma nova oportunidade para alcançar os desejos de uma enorme população que se diferenciava e se separava do progresso educacional, social ou caritativo, materializando-se após uma longa luta de guerra civil para eliminar a reeleição e os abusos. . de poder, uma esperança renovada de justiça social com a promulgação da última constituição dos Estados Unidos Mexicanos em 1917.
Escrevo este romance como uma homenagem aos laboriosos legisladores constituintes de 1917 que são parte essencial na evolução do México moderno, que a ficção me permite envolvê-los em um mundo alheio à realidade, mas que as coincidências são apenas parte da narrativa sem muito aspiração. para mostrar meu orgulho de ser mexicano.
