(...) Das kann aber nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, dass vieles andere trivial und unbrauchbar ist, von der verwirrenden Komplexität seiner Ausführungen ganz zu schweigen. Viele Autoren begnügen sich damit, Definitionen und Meinungen anderer Wissenschaftler zu zitieren, aneinander zu reihen und kurz zu erläutern. "Wer soll eigentlich diesen ganzen Wust lesen, den der wildgewordene Wissenschaftsbetrieb Jahr für Jahr unten herauslässt?"4. So schreibt Hans Ritz etwas salopp über wissenschaftliche Publikationen und wenn dies auch übertrieben sein mag, so muss man doch sagen, dass es nicht immer einfach war aus dem vielen Material das Richtige und Nützliche heraus zu filtern. Deswegen beruht vieles in dieser Arbeit auf eigener Gedankenleistung und folgt eigenen Überlegungen, getreu Kants Devise "sapere aude" ("Habe Mut dich deines Verstandes zu bedienen!"). Nicht allein weil die Literatur recht unbefriedigend war und das Thema "Märchenparodie" entweder gar nicht oder nur kurz am Rande erwähnt wurde, sondern auch weil ich mit "Onkel Hotte", "Shrek", der "Märchenstunde" und den anderen Märchenparodien, Beispiele gewählt habe, die literarisch noch nicht aufgearbeitet wurden. Zunächst werde ich versuchen den Begriff der Parodie sowohl nach antikem, wie auch nach neuzeitlichem Verständnis zu definieren (2. Kapitel). Das dritte Kapitel beschäftigt sich dann mit einem Kommunikationsmodell der Parodie nach Wolfgang Karrer und entwickelt daraus ein genaueres Modell. Die darauf folgenden drei Kapitel setzen sich dann mit dem Typ der Märchenparodie näher auseinander, wobei sich jeweils ein Kapitel der Vorlage und darauf bezogenen Eigenschaften (Kapitel 4), ein Kap
