Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 1997 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Reformpädagogik, Note: 1,3, Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Institut für Pädagogik), Veranstaltung: Proseminar: "Die große Ambition" - zur Geschichte und Aktualität der Reformpädagogik, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Reformpädagogik meint die pädagogische Erneuerungsbewegung in Theorie und praktischer Erprobung zu Beginn unseres Jahrhunderts in Deutschland. Diese Bewegung war in sich heterogen, darum ist es im Rahmen dieser Arbeit nicht Ziel, den Facettenreichtum der Reformpädagogik mit Blick auf das Thema dieser Arbeit abzudecken; vielmehr wird der Mythos Kind an ausgewählten Vertretern der Bewegung aufgezeigt, deren Thesen wichtige Grundannahmen der gesamten reformpädagogischen Bewegung waren. Im ersten Kapitel der Arbeit wird vorgestellt, was den "Mythos Kind" in der Reformpädagogik ausmacht. Dies sind vor allem die anthropologischen Prämissen der Reformpädagogik, wobei auch traditionelle Kritikpunkte sowie die Vorstellungen der Reformpädagogik zur Verbesserung des Unterrichts mit einfließen werden. Im zweiten Teil der Arbeit soll auf die Rolle des 'Mythos Kind' eingegangen werden und wie er zur Forderung der Schulreformation beiträgt. Dies geschieht exemplarisch an dem jüngst erschienenen Buch von Peter Struck: "Erziehung von gestern, Schüler von heute, Schule von morgen". Der Mythos Kind ist in diesem Buch in erster Linie der Mythos von Schülern.
