Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2024 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,7, Universität des Saarlandes (Philosophische Fakultät), Veranstaltung: Hauptseminar Dramatiker*innen der Gegenwart, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Gegenstand der vorliegenden Arbeit soll der Stoff eines antiken Theaterstücks sein und die Rezeption von diesem in einem neuzeitlichen Drama, genauer: ein Stück, welches bereits in der Antike häufig aufgegriffen und bis in die heutige Zeit immer wieder unterschiedlich verarbeitet wurde: die "Orestie" von dem ältesten uns bekannten griechischen Dichter der Antike, Aischylos. Hierzu soll zunächst eine Begriffsklärung zu dem Begriff des Mythos erbracht werden. Danach wird auf die Person des Aischylos kurz eingegangen und dieser in den Kontext von dem griechischen Dichter Euripides gestellt, welcher die "Orestie" mehrere Jahrzehnte später und vor einem anderen geschichtlichen Hintergrund bereits verarbeitet hatte. Die zentralen Inhalte der "Orestie" des Aischylos und der des Euripides werden hierbei zur Sprache kommen. Im weiteren Verlauf erfolgt eine Analyse der Figur Elektra unter Einbezug weiterer Figuren der griechischen Tragödie, woraufhin im nächsten Kapitel der Aufbau und die Struktur der antiken Tragödie einer Analyse unterzogen wird. In Kapitel 4 soll nun das moderne Drama "die unverheiratete" von Ewald Palmetshofer betrachtet werden, zunächst unter dem Aspekt des Aufbaus und der Struktur im Vergleich zur vorher analysierten "Orestie". Hierbei sollen Gemeinsamkeiten herausgearbeitet werden, die hinsichtlich des Stoffes bestehen, aber auch Unterschiede genannt werden, im Hinblick auf die Frage: Was macht Palmetshofer mit dem Stoff, der nun nicht mehr in der Antike spielt, sondern in der Neuzeit im Kontext des zweiten Weltkriegs und der bis heute bestehenden Schuldfrage? Wie lässt Palmetshofer 'seine' Figuren agieren (ein besonderes Augenmerk liegt hierbei auf der Figur der Elektra), in welchen Kontext setzt er den Kern der Ge
