About the Book

Life is a gift, not a contest. Ask any kid. Success comes from hope, not domination. Share. Get rid of WEALTHCARE and excesses. WE ignore our greatest survival challenge, global warming, Because WE allow self-centered SIPHONING of wealth. This book describes who WE are, what's wrong, and who WE can be.
About the Author: I am just a garden variety Magpie who has lived in several countries and been exposed to many cultures. We humans have a wonderful range of skills, perceptions, and have adapted magnificently to so many challenges. Now we face ourselves, fearful, mean. We get in our own way. Even with many struggles, and in some way, because of those struggles, I come to see what a gift we all have, provided each of us is permitted the opportunity to witness the gift and are allowed to take on full responsibility for our own share. I am convinced there are a very few of us who find themselves gifted but somehow frightened they will have the gift stolen. To keep themselves 'safe' they decided, at some point, their best course was to become Bullies and take from everyone else, except their dutiful followers. They became greedy and justified it as self-righteous. Instead, it became riotous, at some point. History has repeatedly told us that just such a decision produces the opposite effect. Each time, the human community has suffered greatly so those few could bask in their illusion of glory for some brief moment before being undone. I am really concerned that the human race will become extinct because we did not pay attention until it was too late. This time we face conditions, which can quickly change, and we will be unable to overcome those changes. We will then lack air to breath, water to sustain our lives, descend into pointless wars of plastic ego, and go the way of the dinosaurs. Recall that we had to relearn much wisdom lost when the library at Alexandria burned down. We can avoid total loss by changing what we do with and to each other because of the unreliable behavior of a few bullies. For the brightest species we know about, we are stupid in what nonsense we conjure for selfish reasons and what lies we insist on spewing upon each other. We do so much better when we are kind to each other. I hate to see all of us dying for dumb reasons, selfish insecurity, and lack of vision. Why not have our goals be to get everyone up to a secure existence? Isn't that what we all want? That is the real conversation and action for which we are all here. I want we should live in our bodies, not with extremes of harmful reaction. Warlords, Religious lords, Drug lords, Corporate Money lords. They are all Bullies and we must chase them down and undo their stolen power. Then we can join forces and deal honestly with our greatest threat, Global Warming.
