About the Book

Like a quasar a magic empty chair appears out of nothingness to spread the eternal message and awakening many..... A federation of priests and politicians, the Thallium Agency Unlimited, tries to prevent contact without much success... A bunch of ancient gods being persecuted by all religions down the ages because of their life affirmation and celebration hide in the very caves of the Vatican and discover another hidden room full of ancient beautiful statues that magically come alive by their presence and a big full pumping techno party is going on right now ...... but the thallium club is not happy and takes the earth closer and closer to global suicide.... So our heroes, after finding a mysterious map describing the existence of a master that knows all the secrets, are deciding to build the Nunsense Ark to save them and to find this mysterious place....After many adventures, after the meeting of a Sufi mystic Sardar Gurudayal Sing and a ferocious Zen master, Niskriya Stone Head, finally they GET found by Osho's place, The CLUB MEDITATION, the last resort. After being introduced and welcomed into the resort and after the explanation of all the different meditations and faculties of the multiversity, our heroes try out some of the techniques offered there, particularly the Dynamic Meditation and start tuning in more deeply with the place. After experiencing the famous Mystic Rose meditation and after visiting the incredible Osho Teerth, an ecological park project, our friends finally meet the `Magic Empty Chair` in the Withe Robe Brotherhood and experience the 4 stages of the evening meditation. Out of breath, they witness the first metamorphosis of the chair into pure energy, later into a space ship and believe it or not, they become enlightened with 200 disciples and go into the world again with the vessel. Wherever the spaceship passes, strange things happen... people get instantly deprogrammed, borders between nations get erased, dramas between people disappear, and Homo Sapiens magically transforms itself into Homo Novus ....
About the Author: Devakrishna Marco Giollo was born in Bellinzona, Ticino, Switzerland in 1953. In 1970 he studied at the Architect School STS of Trevano, but left after a year realizing that the intensive technical studies were not going to be his real calling. He then joined in 1971 in Lugano the School of Art CSIA, where he got trained with some of the best contemporary artists and teachers of Switzerland 1973 he then won the second prize for sculpture at the Villa Saroli Exhibition, followed by the Bariffi Prize for his 3'15 m. sculpture, exhibited at the Congress House of Lugano Giollo traveled all over the world, from Oregon to California, from New York to Sydney and from Singapore to Hong Kong, exhibiting a variety of new styles of work in many countries. In 2000 he returned to Europe. He now lives in Switzerland, works in his two ateliers in Scoenenbuch and Magdino in Ticino. In 2003 and 2004 he won the second price of the Landfall Art Center recycling art competition in Alberoni, Lido di Venezia, Italy. Giollo's art is concerned with beauty and a peaceful, silent space of meditation. It is this dimension, in stark contrast to the art-worlds 'pretensions' of constant 'novelty' and 'meaning', which he hopes to share. As he himself says: "For me painting is a meditative act When I paint I am totally lost in the act of painting. It is a 'no- mind' experience. What I am left with afterwards is a canvas that wants to go, wants to make someone or some place happy. When that happens I feel honored and grateful; I feel I gave a little something, a little beauty to the world." He also created this infamous comic: The Mystic Rose and the Magic of the Empty Chair in honor of the modern mystic and master Osho. The entire comic symbolizes the search and the findings of the master and the inner transformation one has to go through to uncover one's true self.
