Flexible to your specific needs. Minimal writing for maximum time praying. Easy organization. Keep detailed track of prayer without required daily entries.
There are many perspectives, thoughts and feelings about keeping a prayer journal, or not. My Prayer Journey Journal was designed to be a prompt to keep one's prayer life balanced, a way to avoid forgetting what was promised to be prayed for and a way to journal as inspired or as needed, not in a forced daily ritual. It was not designed with a calendar format, or as a daily list and definitely not with the implication that it is a daily requirement.
In other words, this journal is to be freeing, not constraining. It is to enable a better prayer journey, shoring up areas of weakness, such as forgetfulness or inconsistency, but offering the ability to pray without the burdensome and distracting obligations of having to journal.
My Prayer Journey Journal was designed to allow its user to journal as needed, to keep track of the "statistics and details," but also to allow reflection in a way that won't require a redundant daily recording of everything prayed, but in a way that will keep from losing track, in the hope that more time will be spent in actual prayer and less in writing what is to be prayed for.
In other words, this is to record a history of your prayer journey, not just lists of what was prayed for. It is a history of what God was doing in, through and with you and how He answered your prayers.
My Prayer Journey Journal offers topics of prayer where needs can be recorded, tracked and reflected on. Each prayer topic starts with a few Scripture passages and a short encouragement as to why prayer is needed in the particular topic, as well as suggestions for ways to pray in that topic.
My Prayer Journey Journal is flexible enough to be tailored to your specific needs and unique relationship with God. Each entry can be picked up and added to as needed, without having to record it over and over every day. If an entry changes, it can be closed out and rewritten in another spot, updated to meet the current prayer need. The journal is designed to be prayed through daily, without necessarily needing to be written daily. It is designed as a prayer journey, not an event ledger.
