About the Book

A dramatized fictional account based on true events that occurred in Japan and Hawaii.Who can say what happened and what didn't? People dream lucid dreams, and also nightmares. They could affirm they were really there. And when they woke up, they could not recall the people and places. But the entire time they were dreaming, they knew those persons. They were family and friends. They were familiar with the surroundings. But once they woke up, those memories vanished. The people seemed to be strangers they had never met before. An unfamiliar wife or husband. Another family with other children. The unrecognizable house surrounded by colorful, fragrant flowers on the street laden with dogwood blossom trees. Could it be the future? Or the past? The people, locations, and occurrences in My Memoirs of Japan I are real. I can say it's my account of it as it happened to me. As I was drifting through time, space, or dimensions, a wormhole perhaps; or as I was hallucinating, visualizing and conceiving in an uncertain state of mind, many strange events and incidents befell me. I saw my past, present and future, and took part in it. I even attempted to change some things, well aware of the consequences. Or was I really? Deliriums can be real to the hallucinating schizophrenic. They can also remain in his memories. They will become part of a memory and remain deep in the subconscious mind until pulled up again by some trigger that leads to the horror and panic that follows. I'm still not sure, I don't know if what I saw and experienced resulted from my being schizophrenic, or delusional... or was it actually happening? And what the hell triggered it? Was it the agony? The drugs? Malpractice? A mysterious force? There are many things we do not understand. How can we even understand the past or the future, or life on a parallel planet, in a parallel universe? As I watched those events take place in my life and mind, I connected them with a curve. I even bent time; backwards and forward. We are in the past, the present or the future; or in a parallel world not bound by space and time. Or is it all the same day as Janis Joplin said? I encountered a mysterious and dangerous being. As much as I wanted to find out who he was and where he was from, I was unsuccessful. Was he real? Or only a figment of my imagination? Although he tried to stop me, whatever was on his agenda, I did not let him fulfill it. Was he the good one, and I the malevolent one? I only knew he was a threat to me. How could he know I did not belong there in the past? Maybe it began when I inhabited somebody else's body. Was he planning on eventually killing me? Had I changed the past? I wouldn't know I had. My memories would be different. My Memoirs of Japan; did they come out of my original memory? Such is the danger of meddling with time and space, and the mind. I thought I was insane when they came. I had been communicating with them. Were they from the future or the past? Is it all in their secret files? Those beings and events which fall under the paranormal. The strange people in that bizarre organization I had encountered all my life.. They were like something from another world. Some very strange people. They could be very sweet, and sometimes horrifying, frightening and spine-chilling. Even downright menacing. Their wide eyes were often penetrating, frightening. Even the smile was dubious; eerie. Were they trying to control my mind? Living with them caused me no end of terrible days and awful nights. Later when more came, every day was one perpetual nightmare. The spirit the leaders carried was depressing, oppressing and caused distress most of the time. No matter how much I gave them, they always wanted more; demanded more. This creature that kept appearing to me was so much like them. But now he is gone. They came to get him and he is somewhere else. Where, I do not know.
