Summary
We all want our children to have healthy minds, to make great friendships, to love and be loved. The question is how. How do we support these amazing beings as they navigate this complex, highly pressured and rapidly changing environment? Get them out and about, make them mix and play, but remember, there are times when they need some downtime to reflect on social skills and scenarios. The short, succinct stories address each skill in a light, simple yet stimulating tone. To finish off, there are questions and activities to further explore each social skill. From the crawling infant to the emotionally charged pre-teen, this book will leave a solid block or two in the foundation to support healthy, enriching and amazing friendships.

About the author
Observing the striking influence friends have on kids before they can even spell "friendship", Mary decided to write a book for kids on the complex theme of friendship. This is the fifth of her MiiNii publications; all MiiNii books are written to inspire self-confidence and develop strong literacy skills in children. When Mary isn't coming up with a unique concept for a new publication, this law graduate, entrepreneur (MiiNii, her book startup ) and founder of an HR law magazine enjoys a rare, calming moment at a child-friendly cafe or the habitual, frenzied scenes of childhood bliss at the park with her kids, Miles and Nia.
