About the Book

Ioan Dirina has written a book relating his dreams and how they often foresaw an actual event in the near future. In easy-to-read narrative and diary format, he has put down these dreams and the real events that they predicted. These diaries began with his days as a young man in Romania, and continued till the present day in California, with all his travels in between. His experiences offer proof of a supernatural entity, Mr.Dirina feels, because only God can know the future. This is a fine study of paranormal dreams which deserves to be read by everybody. On August 4,1964 I had a long dream with my childhood friend and schoolmate Arsenie Lupu who was wering a military uniform. Next day I was reding a military textbook edited in 1877, and on page 104 I saw something written by a rumanian general named Lupu, same as my friend's name. In my dream of September 9,1964 I was in main railroad station of Bucharest with some colleagues, explaining them the meaning of letters D.A. on a side of a locomotive there. Next day on page 14 of Science and Technique magazine I saw an article titled "Ways of Iron" in which that particular type of locomotive was described with letters 060-DA-113. On the night of February 4,1972 I dreamed that a pistol was given to me for my self defense. Next day Daily News ran a story about destruction of about 16 thousand pistols following such legislation passed back in 1968 in New York State. On February 3,1976 in my dream someone asked me where Al D'Angelo was working now.I answered that he is preparing tax returns at H&R Block company. Next day while riding on buss Q44A along Union Turnpike, between 222nd and 223rd Street I noticed a store named H&R Fruit Market. On April6,1976 I dreamed that House Speaker Carl Albert had died. Next day around 1:00 P.M. on station WIOK I heard a news bulletin about him. On October 16,1980 I dreamed with movie actress Kim Novak . Next day while I was reading a newspaper in waiting room of Doctor Angelo Stroe's office, I saw a classified ad of a 42-year old lady, which read like this: "Pretty blonde, 5'10", Kim Novak eyes". On December 8,1985 I dreamed with a woodpecker drilling a hole in a tree somewhere. Next morning in a book "Keeping Faith" by Jimmy Carter I read that Colonel Charles Beckwith told the former president while in Oval Office: "...the President of the United States is as tough as woodpecker lips". In my dream of November 26,1988 I was in a location in Los Angeles from where I could clearly see the "HOLLYWOOD" sign up on the hills. Next day I watched Thanksgiving parade on channel 5, and at 6:51 P.M. and again at 7:18 P.M. an advertisement appeared on screen with the word "HOLLYWOOD" written in it. On April 8,1991 I had a dream with physicist Albert Einstein, and next day in Calendar section of Los Angeles Times was an announcement about a TV series on channel 28 about him. In my dream world of June 16,1991 I was in a hospital where all patients'bills were paid through Medicare. Next morning Los Angeles Times published an expose titled "Reimbursement Schemes Costly for Medicare". During night of May 22,1992 I dreamed that a hundred-dollar bill was returned to me by cashier of a store where I tried to make a purchase, as being counterfeit. Next day Vasile Marcu called me saying that he went to his bank to deposit 300 dollars in cash, which I gave him the day before, and was told that one of those bills was counterfeit. On the night of August 12,1993 I had a dream with Nick Popa from Pico Rivera and next day I got a Notice of Sale regarding foreclosure on his house. On the night of December 13,1994 my dream took me in a classroom somewhere, where our teacher was a female member of Congress. Next morning in Los Angeles Times was a photo of Elaine M. Anderson who just died in San Pedro at age 81. On January 24,2000 I dreamed about a woman named Martha, and next day I read an article in Los Angeles Times titled "Martha Stewart's Stock is not a Good Thing".
