Through a collection of vignettes that loosely weave together, Rachel Reiss shares the unusual, bizarre, and unbelievable experiences of her first year in Hollywood and working for television producer Al Burton. Within a year, she finds herself hanging out with celebrities, writing television scripts, running strange errands, and caught in the most unpredictable circumstances.
Meanwhile, Reiss also struggles to deal with the trials and tribulations of being a 22-year-old - dating and love, popular culture, being broke, and attempting to define and understand the world around her.
