Francis (Frank) Dixon, now in his mid-eighties, is a Salvation Army Officer/Pastor who retired from active service twenty-three years ago. This is Frank's fourth published book. In this book, Frank looks back over eight decades of miracles he has personally experienced and the lessons he has learned about miracles and the touch of God upon his life. With anecdotes, illustrations, and biblical teaching, Frank transparently divulges his own responses and emotions leading up to and following these interventions of God. This book is about FAITH, PRAYER, HOPE, and LOVE, interwoven into these miraculous events which take place in Canada, Germany, and Bermuda.
Frank exercises a keen mind, along with a sense of humour, as he reflects upon sickness, pain, suffering, and temptation, as well as vocational conundrums, Alzheimer's/-dementia, Holy Orders and, most of all, God's Healing Touch!
Following retirement, Frank worked at two part-time jobs for twelve years after which he became a full-time caregiver to his dear wife, for eight years, before she was admitted to long-term care.
Having a penchant for writing, Frank, who has a B.A. Degree from Queen's University; a Master of Theological Studies Degree from Ontario Theological Seminary, as well as having undertaken Ph. D. Studies at Trinity College and Seminary, in Newburgh, Indiana, is able to put pen to paper in descriptive terms.
His life is a statement of the truth of Proverbs 3:6:
"In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
