About the Book

NOBODY REALLY WANTS A MORTGAGE, EVERYBODY PRAYS FOR THE DAY THEY CAN PAY IT OFF AND BE RID OF IT AND YET, EVERYONE WANTS ONE FOR WHAT A MORTGAGE CAN DO FOR THEM. MORTGAGES MADE SIMPLE TELLS YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MORTGAGES IN AN EASY-TO-READ LANGUAGE THAT ANYBODY CAN UNDERSTAND. WHETHER A FIRST-TIME BUYER, SOMEONE WHO HAS HAD SEVERAL MORTGAGES OR SOMEONE ENTERING THE MORTGAGE INDUSTRY OR IS ALREADY IN THE INDUSTRY, THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU.
About the Author: Barry Mitchell entered the world of finance and became a 'Whole of Market' mortgage advisor in 1999. From 2002 to 2008 he was probably the most successful mortgage advisor in the United Kingdom and on one occasion, in 2006, was told by a lender that that month, he was the single largest provider of all their business. In 2004, he helped the launch of a new mortgage brokerage which, within a year of commencing trading, became the 2nd largest mortgage brokerage in the country, and all this whilst still running his own practice. There are many facets to the man. He has been a professional salesman for over 40 years. He has run several businesses and for 15 years ran a specialist lining business, lining lakes, tanks and reservoirs as well as specialist flat roofing applications. He was a qualified electronics mechanic. He is passionate about gaining knowledge and using it for the benefit of others. He was licenced to practice as a hypno-therapist and psycho-analyst, although he never did practice - he just enjoyed studying the subject. He is a respected martial artist and still teaches his art all over the world. He cares about people and specialises in resolving their financial and business difficulties. It is this unique combination of being constantly driven by a thirst for knowledge, driven to improve the lives of others, to help them become the best people they were ever destined to become, the unusual quality of being both technically minded and a 'people's person' that enables him, amongst other things, to take, dare we say, a boring subject like mortgages and explain their complexities in an enjoyable and interesting way and in a language that everybody can understand and even enjoy. Now trading under the name of BM Strategist, he focuses his energy in helping people and businesses become free of debt in the shortest period of time, with the least amount of pain. He works with business owners, helping them fulfil their purpose in starting their business. He provides clarity and focus to ensure they have a successful business that affords them the lifestyle they desire but never forgetting the importance of family and the work/life balance.
