From the Author
I write the Mornin The Super Bird books series for young children to put the future of our planet at their heart. I believe that children are our best chance to improve our ecosystems, find solutions to major climate problems, and save the planet.
It is my dream that this book plants the seed needed for this and future generations to make protecting the planet Earth a forever first priority.
I also believe in the importance of reading to children from an early age and hope that this books series engage children (and parents!) and inspire them to believe in a better future and boost their interest in caring for and improving the environment.
About the Illustrator
Diego A. Diaz is an Artist and Illustrator graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He has participated in different cultural spaces with art pieces in two and three dimensions, from academy to urban expressions
Diego constantly keeps exploring new drawing methods. More than his expression through art, his goal is the reflection in the viewer about topics that concerns to us all. Through his job as an art teacher to students from elementary school to High school, he encourages creativity in each class.
Diego's Sculpture, Ensueño, was awarded first place in the Chia Cultural Contest 2018.
"Ciudad Jaguar 2" got an honorable mention at the Fine Arts festival Bernardo Paramo 2017, Bogota Colombia.
His project "Rio Frio" was awarded the first prize at the 2017 new artist at the fine Arts Chia Cultural.
Mornin The Super Bird is his first collaboration on a children's book.
