About the Author: Daryl D. Green, who works for the Department of Energy (DOE), is a Louisiana native. He is also the author of several books, Awakening the Talents Within and My Cup Runneth Over: Setting Goals for Single Parents and Working Couples. One Tennessee newspaper called him a 20st Century Renaissance man. He is a manager, engineer, TV talk show host, poet, and professor. He received the DOE Community Service Award and the Pasco Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award for this effort. Daryl is also listed in Who's Who in U.S. Writers, Editors & Poets; Who's Who Among International Professionals; and Who's Who Among Top Executives and Successful Businesses. He is the past president of the Clinch River Club of Toastmasters, International, and the Oak Ridge Chapter of Blacks in Government (BIG). Daryl received a BS in Mechanical Engineering at Southern University A & M and an MA in Organizational. Management at Tusculum College, and is currently a doctoral student at Regent University. He is involved with numerous programs and projects to better assist the human spirit. Estraletta A. Green is a native of Mobile, Alabama. Estraletta received a BS in Civil Engineering from Southern University A & M and is a lifetime learner. She has worked for DOE as a team leader and strategic planner for the Environmental Management program. She is also certified as a Registered Environmental Manager and Project Management Professional. Estraletta's accomplishments are many. She was featured in Black Collegian as an Outstanding Black Female Engineer and listed in Who's Who Among International Professionals. Estraletta was selected as a delegate to the Management Institute for Professional Women hosted by Washington State University. She is very active in her community and is a former BIG officer in Tennessee. Estraletta has served as Federally Employed Women's Program Manager, past president of Toastmasters International, church trustee member, and vice president for Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated, to name a few.
