About the Author

Shailesh V Shrikhande MS, MD, FRCS (Hon) is currently the Chief, Gastrointestinal and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Service and Professor, Department of Surgical Oncology, Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Bhawna Sirohi MBBS, DCH, FRCP is currently the Head of Medical Oncology, Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Centre, Bangalore, Karnataka. She has worked as Consultant Medical Oncologist in GI and Breast unit at Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), has served as the Head of Medical Oncology at Artemis Health and has been the Director of Medical Oncology at Max Healthcare Institute. She chairs the ICMR committee for colorectal cancers, hepatocelluar carcinoma and neuroendocrine tumours, is the founder President of NICCI (New India Cancer charity Initiative), and is the Secretary of the EBMT Nuclear Accident Committee. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Indian Journal of Medical and Pediatric Oncology, Journal of Cancer Therapeutics and Editor-in-Chief of Pancreatic Cancer India website. She is an international leader in research on cancer, has published more than 100 papers in national and international journals and has been a recipient of many prestigious awards
