He obtained his MBA in 1985, M.Phil. Degree in 1990, Ph.D degree in 1997, and also completed PGDCA in 2001. He has been teaching in the Department of Business Management for over 15 years. He has been guiding a number of research scholars in research programmes leading to M.Phil and Ph.D degrees. His field of specialisation includes marketing, advertising, and public relations. Dr. Rakesh has ten books his credit in the field of business and management. He has published more than 15 research papers and articles in leading journals both in India and abroad. Further he has participated in many national and international conferences and presented papers. He has completed several research project funded by various national and international agencies. He has served as a member of various academic and professional bodies. Dr. Rakesh is currently engaged in post-doctoral research in the area of his interest.
