Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensführung, Management, Organisation, Note: 2,0, HAWK Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaft und Kunst - Fachhochschule Hildesheim, Holzminden, Göttingen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Problem von Mobbing am Arbeitsplatz und den Folgen für das Unternehmen aus Sicht des Managements. Ich möchte aufzeigen, dass Mobbing nicht nur ein soziales Problem darstellt, sondern dass Mobbing auch zu einem Problem für das Unternehmen wird. Es scheint so, als wäre Mobbing ein krankhaftes Beziehungsfeld, dem sich allein die Experten aus Psychologie, Medizin und Soziologie zu widmen hätten. Doch auch für die Betriebswirtschaft spielt Mobbing eine große Rolle. Nicht nur die Maschinen tragen zur funktionierenden Produktion bei, sondern auch das Human Capital muss ein gutes soziales Umfeld vorfinden, damit die Produktion läuft. Arbeit nimmt im Leben der Menschen einen immer größer werdenden Stellenwert ein. Die individuellen Folgen des Mobbing sind hinreichend bekannt. Was auf der einen Seite als menschliches Leid zum Ausdruck kommt, kann sich auf der anderen Seite allerdings in wirtschaftlichen Dimensionen für Organisationen bzw. Unternehmen niederschlagen. Mobbing ist ein Modewort aus den 90ern. Der Begriff "Innere Kündigung" sowie "Dienst nach Vorschrift", drücken das Gleiche aus. Nämlich gemobbte Arbeitnehmer die sich durch verminderte Leistungsfähigkeit, fehlender Motivation, Fehlzeiten und vielen weiteren für ein Arbeitsverhältnis negativ auswirkende Auffälligkeiten widerspiegeln. Häufig führt dies zu Kündigungen, was wiederum das Unternehmen wirtschaftlich belastet. Laut einer repräsentativen Umfrage der BAuA (Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin) liegt die Mobbing-Quote in Deutschland bei 2,7 %. Bei arbeitenden Personen in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland resultiert aus dieser Untersuchung eine endgültige Zahl von etwa 1,053 Mio. Mobbing-Opfern.
