About the Book

Mixture, the debut book by Pastor and Author John F. Lofton, seeks to expose and examine how blatantly Anti-Christ practices have become subtly, yet homogeneously, infused into the modern Church. Mixture explores the root of how these ungodly elements have encroached and eroded traditional Christian principles and morals. Beginning in the Garden of Eden, with the Tree of Knowledge which mixed both good and evil, John reveals how the plan of the enemy has always been to defile the people of God through various doctrines of inclusion that lower standards and allow the introduction and inundation of more worldly, carnal values to taint the purity of Christian worship. This book has already been hailed and praised by Lofton's pastoral counterparts and nonprofit business leaders as a necessary read for contemporary Christians. It's practical approach and engaging language is accessible for all readers. Mixture is sure to be an enriching and enlightening addition to your personal library.
About the Author: John F. Lofton was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He served 6 years in the U.S. Marines and is grateful for both his country and coastal upbringing. He is profoundly intense, intellectually insightful, spiritually inspiring and socially relevant. He is passionate about his profession in business and technology, as well as his unrelenting call to be a pastor in the community of Indian Trail, a suburb of Charlotte, NC. His reach has no boundaries-from children to youth and from seniors to everyone else in between-he is devoted to extending his personal mission of equipping the saints for the work of the Ministry. Equipped with a vision, and a unique teaching style; he has been asked to minister to diverse congregations, denominations and non-profit organizations. His messages are hard-hitting, powerful, insightful and relevant. With great courage and great care, he also faithfully seeks to serve his surrounding police departments, school districts, and those in local positions and offices of authority and legislation in an effort to help bridge the gap between community and congregation. He is impassioned about maintaining successful and loving marriages as well as preparing others for marriage and has conducted marriage conferences/boot camps/retreats and single adult conferences that provide actionable tools that help others understand what a Covenant relationship truly looks like. He strongly believes in helping single people identify who they are in Christ and how to discern a counterfeit relationship. In 2016, John launched his non-profit, John Lofton Ministries, affirming his mission to educate, motivate, inspire, and teach people to dig deeper into their callings. Pastor John looks forward to the future influence of his ministry, as well as the impact of his most recent project, his debut book, Mixture. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Covenant Community Church, Indian Trial NC; Founder and President of John Lofton Ministries Inc; Certified Chaplain with Marketplace Chaplains; Board of Directors - Operation Cheer Up A Child. Currently John resides in Indian Trial, a suburb of Charlotte NC, with his wife of 21 years, Elaine. They have two daughters, Ashley and Caitlin and three grand-children. He is consistently living out the values he espouses in his personal life and believes that building peripheral covenant relationships is essential for continued growth for any leader.
