Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Germanistik, Note: 2,3, Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Institut für Germanistische Literaturwissenschaft), Veranstaltung: HS: Mittelalterliche Literatur im Unterricht: Höfische Liebe, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mittelalterliche Literatur wird in der Schule stiefmütterlich behandelt. Das ist Fakt. Aus Erinnerungen an die eigene Schulzeit bleiben nur Walthers von der Vogelweide Unter der Linden, die Abschrift dieses Liedes und eine zeichnerische Gestaltung. Dabei bieten sich verschiedene, in den Lehrbüchern aufgeführte Rahmenthemen zur Behandlung der älteren deutschen Literatur schon in der Orientierungsstufe an. Während der schulpraktischen Studien im Sommersemester 2007 erhielten acht Studierende Einblick in deren praktische Umsetzung. Das über mehrere Wochen zu bearbeitende Problem stand unter der Überschrift "Ritter, Bauern und Soldaten". Dabei kamen die Sechstklässler in Kontakt mit der mittelhochdeutschen Sprache und erfassten den Inhalt der Minnedichtung verhältnismäßig selbstständig. Entgegen einiger Erwartungen blieb das Mittelalter SchülerInnen des Adolf-Reichwein-Gymnasiums nicht verschlossen. Im Erfahrungsaustausch berichteten Mädchen wie Jungen begeistert von diversen Besuchen auf Burgen und brachten ihr Wissen über den Falken, da dies im Zusammenhang mit dem zu bearbeiteten Gedicht stand, emphatisch mit ein. Doch die Themen der Minnelyrik sind vor allem auch bei SchülerInnen aus den höheren Klassenstufen der Sekundarstufe I und II präsent - (unerfüllte) Liebe, Werbung um eine schöne Frau oder den Einfluss der Gesellschaft. Auch die Beschäftigung mit den Vorstufen der eigenen Sprache ist ein interessanter Fakt, der sich ebenso positiv mit anderen, fremdsprachlichen Übersetzungsarbeiten kombinieren lässt. Nach einer Umfrage unter SchülerInnen zur Einstellung gegenüber der Konfrontation mit dem Mittelalter im Unterricht fällt auf, dass der Anteil derjenigen, die dem skeptisch gegenüber steh
