Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich Psychologie - Arbeit, Betrieb, Organisation, Note: 1,7, Hamburger Fern-Hochschule, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Hausarbeit stellt drei Motivationstheorien dar und zeigt Praxisbeispiele, wie diese im Unternehmen angewendet werden können. Um sich mit den Motivationstheorien zu beschäftigen, ist es notwendig einige Begriffe näher zu erläutern. Dies soll erleichtern, dass die Motivationstheorien in die Praxis umgesetzt werden können. Nachfolgend werden die Grundbegriffe Motiv, Bedürfnis und die Motivation im Allgemeinen sowie eine detailliertere Erläuterung der extrinsischen und intrinsischen Motivation erfolgen. Dass Mitarbeiter in ihren Unternehmen kontinuierlich gute Arbeitsleistung erbringen, ist nicht selbstverständlich. Die Leistungsbereitschaft eines Mitarbeiters hängt wesentlich von den drei Faktoren Leistungsbedingungen, Leistungsvermögen und Leistungsbereitschaft/Motivation ab. In dieser Arbeit soll der dritte Faktor Leistungsbereitschaft bzw. Motivation näher betrachtet und die theoretischen Modelle im Unternehmensalltag integriert werden. Seit 2001 führt das Gallup-Institut Arbeitnehmerumfragen zum Thema Arbeitszufriedenheit durch. Zwar lässt sich erkennen, dass seit der Wirtschaftskrise 2008 die Zahlen derjenigen, die keine emotionale Bindung zum Arbeitsplatz haben, zurückgegangen sind. Jedoch geben immer noch 16% an, dass sie mit dem Arbeitsplatz unzufrieden sind und sich somit mit diesem oder dem Unternehmen auch nicht identifizieren können. Die Untersuchung hat wiederholt gezeigt, dass ein schlechtes Management die Hauptursache ist. Die Arbeitsleistung und somit die emotionale Bindung mit dem Arbeitsplatz und dem Unternehmen kann nur durch motivierte Mitarbeiter gelingen. Die Motivation der Mitarbeiter in dem Unternehmen hat durch gesellschaftliche Veränderungen bei den Mitarbeitern einen immer höheren Stellenwert eingenommen. Mitarbeiter setzen sich selbstbewusster, aber auch kritischer mit der Arbeit
