Jahrhundert haben. Dabei beschränken sich die Ausführungen auf eine Führung im Kontext der Arbeitsorganisation. Mitarbeiterführung gestaltet sich heutzutage zunehmend herausfordernd, nicht zuletzt, weil Globalisierung, technologische Fortschritte und ein veränderter Kultur- und Wertewandel das heutige Zeitalter prägen. Zudem kennzeichnet sie sich durch unterschiedliche Facetten, beruhend auf verschiedenen Verständnissen des Führungsbegriffs. Damit geht eine Vielzahl an differenzierten Vorstellungen und Sichtweisen von Mitarbeiterführung einher, die sowohl Führungskräfte als auch Mitarbeitende in ihren Verhaltensweisen und den damit verbundenen Handlungen beeinflussen. Das Führungsgeschehen ist von veränderten Vorstellungen und Verhältnissen abhängig und löst bei vielen Menschen Unsicherheiten im Führungskontext auf. Demgegenüber beruhen Theorien von Erziehungsprozessen ebenso auf vielfältigen Vorstellungen und Unklarheiten bezüglich des Erziehungshandelns. Insbesondere die Theorie "Führen oder Wachsen-Lassen" von Theodor Litt (1961) basierend auf Parolen des Führens und Wachsen-Lassens sowie die Theorie der expressiven Pädagogik von Twellmann et al. (1980) mit Expression und Reduktion entstanden, aufgrund unterschiedlicher Verständnisse und Sichtweisen hinsichtlich der Erziehung. Damit gehen einer modernen Mitarbeiterführung Parallelen mit Theorien des Erziehungsprozesses einher. Sie geben Anlass dazu, zeitgemäße Mitarbeiterführung in Hinblick auf für sie bedeutsame Annahmen der Theorien des Führens und Wachsen-Lassens sowie der Expression und Reduktion zu untersuchen.
