In this short science fiction story, the character Ralph travels to the far reaches of space and the solar system through his imagination. Not long after, however, he wakes up and looks around, surprised to remember that he is in the dentist's room. Then he realizes that he is not really in orbit flying through space as he truly believed but rather is on Earth, in a place called Galactic Dental, and for his own benefit he understands that everything had been the product of his expansive imagination. He observes that many of his dream experiences coincide with the reality of his environment, such as the music on the radio, the words of the assistant, and the service personnel who move here and there in white suits and transparent acrylic masks.
All these elements give the appearance of a peaceful sensation that Ralph is moving inside a traveling space capsule.
Little Ralph is also a self-taught little scientist who, in addition to doing experiments, always reads books and many interplanetary novels. He is someone who has always dreamed of one day visiting Mars. Ralph is an astronaut who will one day save humanity and make them multiplanetary, in a mission that he himself named Mission 44 (Red Planet): Interplanetary Travel.
En esta corta historia de ciencia ficcion, el personaje Ralph viaja a los confines del espacio y del sistema solar desde la imaginacion, aunque no mucho despues se despierta y mira a su alrededor y se sorprende al recordar que esta en la sala del dentista, entonces se da cuenta que realmente no se encuentra en orbita surcando el espacio como verdaderamente creia, sino que mas bien se encuentra en la tierra, en un lugar llamado "Galactic Dental", y para beneficio propio comprende que todo habia sido el producto de su imaginacion expansiva y observa que muchos de los pasajes vividos coinciden con la realidad presente del ambiente, como la musica de la radio, las palabras de la asistente y el personal de servicio que se mueven de aqui para alla con trajes blancos y caretas de acrilico transparentes. Todos estos elementos dan la apacible sensacion de apariencia, de que Ralph se mueve en el interior de una capsula espacial en movimiento.
El pequeno Ralph, es tambien un autodidacta y pequeno cientifico que ademas de hacer experimentos siempre lee libros y muchas novelas interplanetarias, alguien que siempre ha sonado con algun dia conocer Marte. Ralph es un cosmonauta que algun dia salvara a la humanidad y los convertira en multiplanetarios, en una mision que el mismo nombro "Mision 44 (planeta rojo): Viajes Interplanetarios".
