Normally Dorothy is to be found on the stage of the Paradise music hall & Theatre in the east End of London. But when called upon; she lends her unique talents to investigating the supranational, paranormal and mysterious. Her brother - Harry - is a London detective Inspector and with their Uncle William - the Magician 'Professor Dustin Potts' they tackle the strange and mysterious which sometimes can be quite deadly. This book is the THIRD from the Internet series that initially appeared in 2016, written under the author's 'nom-de-plume' 'William Alexander Stephens'.

Contains five episodes:

1. New York's complex counterfeiting caper.
"Dorothy and the magic show has arrived in New York and she becomes involved with a dangerous gang of counterfeiters who want to flood America with bent British notes. She becomes entangled with British Intelligence and the New York Homicide cop. A Suffragette march nearly loses Dorothy everything precious to her and she is betrayed by someone she thought loved her."

2. The mystery of the missing Millionairess.
"Dorothy is asked to investigate the seemly impossible disappearance of a young millionairess from a New York dress shop and uncovers a web of murder, money and sex. She also encounters some real mad people and worse; s a real mad bear! She takes her first flight and finds another 'Harry Hadden' whose nothing like her dear brother!"

3. The corpse nobody claimed.
"When there is a terrible fire at a New York 'sweat shop' factory and over a hundred and fifty poor souls are lost in the inferno, Dorothy is asked to investigate the sole corpse that no-one identified or claimed. What she uncovers shocks her and finds she is deeply involved - personally - in this strange case."

4. A conspiracy of fraud and murder on a Titanic scale?
"After the terrible disaster of the Titanic, Dorothy is asked to investigate a very strange insurance claim for a passenger that died on board. But what she discovers could put her in deadly peril and reveals what actually could have happened to the great ship and it's not pleasant!"

5. The haunted honeymoon.
"Dorothy is finally married to Harry Hadden [no, not her brother! The other one!] and pair travel to the highlands of Scotland for their honeymoon; it doesn't go well! Dorothy has an unexpected trip to a very different Scotland and reunites with her long lost love who she thought had died years ago. Not your average honeymoon!"
