These are the adventures of Miss Dorothy Hadden; an Edwardian magicians assistant who assists her brother in investigating strange incidents and happenings in Edwardian times. Normally Dorothy is to be found on the stage of the Paradise music hall & Theatre in the east End of London. But when called upon; she lends her unique talents to investigating the supranational, paranormal and mysterious. Her brother - Harry - is a London detective Inspector and with their Uncle William; the Magician 'Professor Dustin Potts' they tackle the strange and mysterious which sometimes can be quite deadly. This book is the SECOND from the Internet series that initially appeared in 2016, written under the author's 'nom-de-plume' 'William Alexander Stephens'.

Contains the following six episodes:

1. Sir Henry Hadden and the tomb of Pharaoh Amenhotep V.
"Dorothy's eldest brother; Sir Henry Hadden is excavating in the Southern desert of Egypt, near the old cemetery city of Saqqara. Near Halloween, he's visited by His brother William, who has bought Dorothy and Harry along with him for a holiday. One such tomb belongs to the Pharaoh Amenhotep V - who was known as the 'Dark Pharaoh' - its rumoured that he practised the dark arts and had laid a terrible curse upon those who dare violate his resting place - despite the warnings Sir Henry goes after the tomb."

2. The year of miracles.
"Dorothy, Uncle William and Harry are given an odd assignment by Mister Jericho Tibbs; to 'babysit' a very important historical figure for a few weeks. The Dorothy is re-united with the dashing Alexander McIves from the their Egyptian adventure and her friend Evelyn. What transpires between the trio leaves Dorothy is a very sensitive condition and finds she is abandoned by all except her family!

3. Fear God and Dread nought.
"British Intelligence has a mission for Harry [and Dorothy & Uncle William of course] to protect the new super battleship '"Dreadnought" plans from falling into German hands. She becomes entangled with German spy's and determined time-travellers who want to change history!"

4. The great Dublin Castle jewel heist.
"Uncle William is given a sensitive assignment by the British government after the Irish crown Jewels are stolen from Dublin Castle. He is accompanied by Dorothy and a Scotland Yard detective who she becomes quite involved with. The team end up chasing a bloody coffin around Ireland and have a sea chase on a British battleship!"

5. The love letters of Mrs. Victoria Frogmore.
"The team are asked to discretely investigate some apparent 'love letters' written by the late Prince Albert Victor who died in 1892. The woman selling them claims the Prince married her and fathered a son who should be the true heir to the British throne! What the investigation uncovers could change British history."

6. The European tour of Princess Isis: Queen of Magic.
"Dorothy takes the magic show on a tour of European capitals; but it's not all about magic as she is accompanied by an agent of British Military Intelligence. They encounter spy's, witch finders and Devil worshippers, with the team having to flee in the night from an angry mob!"
